Preparing Your Application
To ensure a smooth and efficient admissions process, please carefully review the requirements listed below. Meeting these criteria and submitting all necessary documentation will help us in processing your child's application promptly. We appreciate your diligence in preparing these materials.
General Requirements (All Applicants)
- Completed Honeypot Academy Application Form (Downloadable below or available at the school office).
- Two (2) recent passport-sized photographs of the applicant.
- Copy of the applicant's Birth Certificate or other official proof of age (e.g., Passport).
- Copy of applicant's Immunization/Health Record.
- Application Fee (Please inquire at the admissions office for the current fee).
Specific Requirements by School Level
Kindergarten (Crèche, Nursery, KG1, KG2)
Age Criteria (as of September 1st of entry year - EXAMPLE, PLEASE CONFIRM YOURS):
- Crèche: Minimum [X] months old.
- Nursery: Minimum [Y] years old.
- KG1: Minimum [Z] years old.
- KG2: Minimum [A] years old.
Required Documents (in addition to General Requirements):
- No prior school records are typically required for first-time school entrants.
- Any relevant developmental assessments (if available and applicable).
A brief, informal interaction may be conducted with the child and parents.
Lower Primary (Grades 1 - 3)
Age Criteria (as of September 1st of entry year - EXAMPLE): Appropriate for grade level.
Required Documents (in addition to General Requirements):
- Official transcript or report cards from the previous school (last two years, if applicable).
- Letter of recommendation or conduct certificate from the previous school (if available).
Applicants may be required to take a grade-level readiness assessment in English and Mathematics. An interview may also be part of the process.
Upper Primary (Grades 4 - 6)
Age Criteria (as of September 1st of entry year - EXAMPLE): Appropriate for grade level.
Required Documents (in addition to General Requirements):
- Official transcript or report cards from the previous school (last two years).
- Letter of recommendation or conduct certificate from the previous school.
Applicants will typically undergo an entrance assessment covering core subjects. An interview with the student and parents may be conducted.
Junior High School (JHS 1 - 3)
Age Criteria (as of September 1st of entry year - EXAMPLE): Appropriate for grade level.
Required Documents (in addition to General Requirements):
- Official transcript or report cards from the previous school (covering at least the last two academic years).
- For students transferring within Ghana, BECE results may be requested if applicable for the grade level.
- Letter of recommendation from the previous school principal or class teacher.
A comprehensive entrance examination in English, Mathematics, and Integrated Science is typically required. An interview with the prospective student and their parents/guardians is mandatory.
Important Notes
- All submitted documents must be originals or certified true copies. Non-English documents may require official translation.
- Submission of an application does not guarantee admission. Admission is competitive and based on a holistic review of the applicant's profile and space availability.

It does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national and ethnic origin in administration of its educational policies, admissions policies, scholarship and loan programs, and athletic and other school-administered programs. - For transfer students from outside Ghana, equivalence of previous schooling will be assessed.
- Please ensure all application materials are submitted by the specified deadlines (if any). Incomplete applications may not be processed.
